In fact, one of our subsidiary companies, Park Lodge Retirement Homes Ltd, operates three retirement schemes in March with a total of 115 bungalows/flats for those aged 55 and over who wish to live independently. They are supported by a Warden and a 24hr emergency pull-cord system for added peace of mind.

This is a standard that you’ll come to expect from Snowmountain and our associated companies. We always put you and your family first, keeping with the family orientated approach to business that you will become to expect from us.

Snowmountain also owns and runs The Oliver Cromwell Hotel that is situated in the High Street and Clarks Shoe Shop (a Franchise) in Broad Street. Our latest acquisition is The Old Nene Golf & Country Club which is a 9-hole course with driving range, 7 holiday lodges, fishing lake and recently built clubhouse for hire of weddings, birthdays, wakes, etc.

In recent years Snowmountain has branched out into green energy and formed Longhill Energy Ltd in 2003. Longhill Energy operates 2 wind turbines at Longhill Road, March. Solar panels were recently added to the area around the turbine. These along with the wind turbine supply electricity to one of our largest commercial units. We have also installed solar panels to our offices and to retirement bungalows at two of our Schemes, where the tenants benefit from the free electricity that they produce.
